- 1 canned sardine in tomato sauce
- water
- 1.5 tbsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp chili powder (optional)
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- Sauté the sliced onion, garlic, and fresh chili (if using) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until the onions are translucent.
- Add the canned sardines along with 1/4 can of water.
- Optionally crush the sardines gently with a spatula for a finer texture.
- Season the mixture with fish sauce, sugar, and optional chili powder, stirring well.
- Stir continuously until the mixture starts to boil. Gently add the eggs into the mixture.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and cover the skillet until eggs are cooked to your liking.
- Serve hot with rice or bread and garnish if desired.
