- 2 eggs (room temperature for cake layer)

- 50 ml fresh milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a 10cm x 20cm loaf pan with aluminum foil.
- For the brownie layer: Melt dark chocolate and butter over low heat until smooth; remove from heat and mix in brown sugar. Stir in egg until combined, then fold in flour. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- For the butter cake layer: Cream unsalted butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Sift together flour and baking powder; fold into the mixture alternately with fresh milk until smooth.
- Spread the butter cake batter over the brownie layer and bake at 160°C (320°F) for another 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
