- 2 cinnamon sticks

- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Prepare the caramel by combining 2 cups of sugar and 1/3 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved, then boil without stirring until golden brown. Pour into ramekins.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2.5 cups of heavy cream, 1 egg, and 5 egg yolks until well combined. Add cocoa powder, sugar, crushed amaretti cookies, vanilla extract(s), and strong coffee; mix until smooth.
- Add cinnamon sticks to the mixture for flavor enhancement.
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Pour the flan mixture over the caramel in ramekins placed in a baking dish filled with hot water halfway up their sides.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
